Inyatsi Construction Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd (ICGH) is a multi-facet company that specialises in property development & management, infrastructure projects, including roads and earth works, civil work, bridge construction, buildings, storm water drainage, water reticulation, water treatment plants, sewer works, dams and reservoirs.
GOOD GOVERNANCE
At Inyatsi we subscribe to the tenets of good governance. To that end we have embarked on a corporate renewal agenda that will see us implementing the recommendations of the King Code of Governance Principles for South Africa 2009 (King Mswati III).
Our group of companies is led by the Group Board of Directors, however, each subsidiary has its own Board, which is governed by its own Board charter. To lessen the burden on the Board there are three Board committees, namely the Audit Committee, the Remuneration Committee and the Steering Committee. The day-to-day business of the company is seen to by a Competent Executive committee led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who is accountable to the Board.
In our bid to align ourselves to the King III code, we recognised that the roles of the Chairman and CEO are separate and accordingly they operate under separate board-approved mandates. We strive for excellence in governance and to use the words of Oliver Wendell Holmes “the greatest thing in this world is not so much where we stand as in which direction we are moving.”

Our Compliance
We have achieved a remarkable milestone by being the first construction company in Africa to obtain SACAS 45001 and 14001 ISO Certifications.
The ISO 45001:2018 certificate means Inyatsi has been assessed and found to satisfy the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems certification while the ISO 14001:2015 certificate is for Environmental Management Systems. Both certificates are in respect of quality and safe civil engineering and concrete construction and associated work standards.
The company was officially presented with its certification by the South African and Audit Services company on Friday May 10, 2019 at the Inyatsi Construction Boardroom during a media briefing session. Inyatsi Construction Group Holdings is also ISO 9001:2015 certified.
It is important to highlight that the aim of ISO Certification is to assure that organizations consistently meet customer needs, resulting in customer satisfaction. Inyatsi has received a lot of positive feedback from clients since adoption of this system. We focus controls on management of the processes that enable us to achieve and improve customer satisfaction which has helped in facilitating continual improvement.
In today’s intensely competitive global market, there is no such thing as a safe, protected market. When competitors are continuously striving to improve, one must do so too.
